The Yorùbá women are very creative when it comes to style, Fashion, Beauty and hair making.
The two basic methods used in hail styling among their women are handmade plaited hail ( irun Didi) and hail that is tired with thread or braided ( irun kíkó).

 Every Yorùbá hairstyle has a significant name that celebrates an occasion, historical event or aesthetic design. Some signify social status, marriage, sophistication, youth or grieving, while others can represent social commentary..
